HeartForce is set to begin the CardioClin study in Ghana aimed at addressing Health Disparities and enhancing Cardiovascular Health in Africa

This investigational study will examine the potential of the EMR-score specifically for Black African populations. The results may lead to:

• Customized Cardiovascular Screening: Developing a validated and effective tool for the early detection of coronary artery disease (CAD) tailored to Black Africans.

• Increased Accuracy: Focusing on genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors specific to this group to enhance screening effectiveness.

• Reduction of Health Disparities: Providing equitable access to advanced diagnostic technologies in areas with limited CAD diagnosis and management options.

• Resource Efficiency: Encouraging cost-effective and non-invasive screening methods to decrease reliance on expensive diagnostic procedures.

• Global Influence: Creating a framework for the use of the EMR-score in various populations worldwide, promoting inclusivity in preventative cardiology.

• Personalized Medical Approaches: Advancing customized strategies for the prevention and management of CAD among Black African communities.

This study has the potential to significantly enhance cardiovascular health and equity on both regional and global scales.
